The daily Hukamnama, on your Home Screen.
Effective date: August 25, 2026
Hukam shows you the daily Hukamnama and lines of Gurbani. It was built to know as little about you as possible. This policy explains what the app does — and mostly what it doesn’t do — with your information.
Each day the app asks our server which Hukamnama was published. That request carries no account of who you are beyond what any internet request includes (an IP address, handled by our hosting provider’s standard infrastructure logs). The scripture itself ships inside the app; the server only names the day’s reading.
Signing in is optional and adds nothing you need for daily use — it exists so future features can keep your saved lines across devices. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we store:
That is the whole list. It is stored with our authentication provider (Supabase) and used only to operate your account. You can delete your account inside the app — Settings → Account — and deletion removes it from our systems.
Hukam Plus is billed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details, and whether you have Plus is decided on your device from Apple’s own record of what you bought — not by any server of ours.
To know how many people subscribe, we report completed purchases to RevenueCat, a subscription-analytics provider. What RevenueCat receives:
RevenueCat is never given your name or your email address, and never your payment details. If you sign out or delete your account, your installation goes back to reporting under a random identifier only.
None of this decides what you can read. Every word of Gurbani in Hukam is free and always will be.
Reminders carrying lines of the Hukamnama are scheduled locally on your device. They do not pass through our servers.
Hukam does not knowingly collect personal information from children; the only personal information it can hold at all is the optional sign-in above.
If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date.
